The History of International Sports Journalist Day

1995年，第58届国际体育记者协会代表大会在加拿大举行。此会议通过决议，将7月2日定为“国际体育记者日”，号召所有会员国协会在7月2日这天举行各种形式的庆祝活动。

In 1995， the International Sports Press Association， or Association Internationale De La Presse Sportive (AIPS) in French， held its 58th annual congress in Canada.

During the meeting， a decision was made and passed that the 2nd of July from that year on will be 'International Sports Journalist Day'--a day when celebration of the sports reporter is encouraged to be held in all member countries.
